Mrs. Myrna Joyce Carroll, 76, of Beech Island, SC, wife of Danny Carroll, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in the comfort of her home.
A lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Wylie Eugene “Gene” and Martha Louella Kaney Buck. She graduated from Aiken Technical College and was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Aiken Regional Medical Centers for twenty-three years.
A devout Catholic, she was a communicant of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Gloverville and formerly active in the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Myrna enjoyed puzzles, trips to the lake, and fishing. More than anything, however, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Along with her husband Danny, Myrna is loved, missed and her memory will remain eternal with her sons, Wendell Odom, Tim Odom and Charlie Odom, former, still much loved daughter-in-law, Pauline Odom, sibling, Sister Debra Jean Widener, grandchildren, Zachary Odom, Chris Odom, Tiffany Odom, Kylie (Brooke) Odom, Noah Odom, Vincent Lee (Tori Nelson) Odom, Victoria Morgan Odom and Valarie Nicole Odom, great-grandchildren, Henry James Odom, Elliott Odom, Isaiah Odom, Rhett Odom, Nevaeh Odom, Nova Odom, Chad Lee Odom and Emerson Stutts, as well as several other relatives.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 6 until 8 o’clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11 o'clock at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Gloverville, SC. Father Kentigern Aririguzo, MSSCC, will serve as Celebrant. Final Prayers and Farewell Commendation will follow in the Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC.
