Charles Edward Keene, 79, of Pennsylvania, formerly of Weston, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 in Pennsylvania. He was born in Grundy VA, on June 25, 1945 son of the late Earnest and Roma (Baldwin) Keene. On June 17, 1998 Charles was united in marriage to Marsha (Harris) Keene, who preceded him in death on October 19, 2018.

Charles is survived by two sons, Chuck and Chris, 3 step sons, Brian Skidmore and wife, Sherri of Weston, David Skidmore and wife, Tammy of Weston, and Greg Skidmore of Lumberport, brother, Ralph Bradley of TN, several nieces and nephews, and Charles’ companion, Judy Sullivan of PA.

In addition to his parents and wife, Charles was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Keene and sister, Deborah Perris.

Charles was a graduate of Grundy High School. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the United State Navy. Charles had retired as a truck driver for American Standard. After retirement he then was a driver for Harry Green in Clarksburg. Charles had a love for fast cars and NASCAR.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. from the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, WV with Pastor Dave Riddle officiating. Interment will follow services. Full military honors will be conducted by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the United States Navy.
