Victoria Marie Wiles, 84 years old, passed away peacefully at her home in Gainesville, Virginia, on April 26, 2025.

Vickie was born in Morgantown, West Virginia, in January 1941, the second daughter of John and Dorothy Marcucci. Vickie graduated from Morgantown High School in 1958 and married her high school sweetheart, Jack Wiles, in August 1959.

The couple moved to Northern Virginia in the early 1960’s. Vickie was a stay-at-home mom to her 3 children before becoming a co-owner of a consignment shop (The Shoestring). She then found her true passion as an Administrative Assistant at Fairhill Elementary School for 29 years. She retired in 2012.

Vickie was preceded in death by Jack in 2022. She is survived by daughter Jackie [Ronnie]; son John [Annabelle]; and son Michael [Lauren], along with 6 grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally: Ronnie, Sarah, Bradley, Darren, Danny, and Giada.

Vickie was also preceded in death by sisters Mary Jo DeCarlo and Dorothy Withrow. She is survived by sister Barbara Bannister.

Vickie’s favorite activities included spending time with family, shopping, scrapbooking, and cheering on her Washington Nationals. Jack and Vickie lived in Holmes Run Acres for 48 years prior to relocating to Heritage Hunt in 2013. At Heritage Hunt, Vickie participated in the Heritage Hunt Women’s Organization, played bocce, and enjoyed spending time at the pool.

Vickie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
