Maryann Matinchek, 85, of Middletown, entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 2, 1940, in Harrisburg and was the daughter of the late Marlin and Anna (Condran) Judy.

Maryann enjoyed going to Hollywood Casino, playing Bunko and cards, dining out with friends, and visiting the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley W. Matinchek Sr.

She is survived by her children: Denise “Dee” Nolte (Jon Bell), Pamela Keneipp (Michael), Stacy Burns, and Stanley “Bud” Matinchek Jr.; four sisters: Janet Shroy, Lois Cochran, Marlene “Molly” Carter (Rich), and Wendy Varnicle (Sam); her grandchildren: Kara Witmer (James), Kensey Burkett, Kathy Dougherty (Kevin), Kacie Zehring (Tyler), Austin Burns (Haley), Luke Burns (Rachel), Kandiss Grundmann (Christopher), and Amanda Keneipp; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 3, 2025, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Middletown, with Rev. Bobby Strauss officiating.

Following the service, a gathering will be held in the basement cafeteria of Seven Sorrows School.
