Mary Kwasowski, 101 of New Britain, beloved wife of the late John A. Kwasowski, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at home. Born in Sedlice, Czechoslovakia, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Stofan) Dolinski, she came to the US in 1929, as a 6 year old girl. Mary was devoted to her family - taking care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren which gave her the most joy and happiest memories.
A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her sons: Mark J. Kwasowski and his wife Ester of Grapevine, TX and Gregory J. Kwasowski and his wife Lindy of Moodus, CT; her grandchildren: Ian Kwasowski and his wife Anne, Cayleigh Andrews and her husband Vince, Paul Kwasowski and Heather Kmetz and her husband Justin; her great grandchildren: Eden, Abigail, Isaiah and Susanna Marie Andrews, her brother, Joel Dolens and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband John and her two sisters: Ann Barnhart and Margaret Burz.
Mary’s family would like to thank, her caregiver and friend Pamela Forrest for her love and care as well as expressing gratitude, and appreciation to friends Joe and Lee Samojla and their family for their continuous love, help and support over the past few decades.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm at the Duksa Funeral Home at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT. Her funeral service will begin on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 9:15 am at the funeral home, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at Holy Cross Church, 31 Biruta Street New Britain, CT 06053.
