Genevieve Theresa Gamma, age 89, Baptized into the Hope of Christ's Resurrection, Sunday April 27, 2025

She was the daughter of the late, Albert and Susann(Lovasco) Petti. Loving wife of Frank Edward Gamma Sr. for 70 years.

Mother of Frank Gamma Jr. Linda (Dan) Byrns, Rick (Jenn) Gamma, Tim (Donna) Gamma, Lisa (the late Bob) Brandt and Tom (Vicki) Gamma. Cherished "Mema" of 22 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great, Great Grandchildren. Sister to Tony (Rosetta) Petti, Susann (the late Larry) Hartig, Bill Petti, Bob (Cathy) Petti and Sister in-law of Cora (the late Gene)Crigler and her late brother in-law Jim Gamma. She was preceded in death by her sister Fran (Russell) Underwood and her husband Tom Russell and her Grandson Anthony Gamma and nephew Tommy Russell. Dear aunt, great-aunt, Godmother, cousin and friend to many.

Genevieve was the best mother that any child could want. She was a devout Catholic and was a long time parishioner of St. Catherine Of Alexandria where she sang in the choir for 20 years. Genevieve, along with her husband Frank Sr. were residents of Bellefontaine Neighbors for over 70 years, where they founded Gamma Tree Service in 1954. She ran the office and kept the books meticulously for 50 years. Her greatest joy was being around her family. When she wasn't spending time with them, she enjoyed lunches with her friends, making bracelets, and playing her lucky slot machine and loved traveling around the country in the RV. Genevieve will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation from 4:00pm to 8:00pm om Friday May 2, 2025 at Hutchens Mortuary, Florissant. Funeral Mass at 10:00am Saturday May 3, 2025 Sacred Heart, Florissant.

Interment Calvary Cemetery.
