Bruce Lisy, 76, of Parkman, OH, passed away Sunday evening, April 27th, 2025 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Cleveland, OH on September 22nd, 1948 to the late Frank and Genevieve (Sova) Lisy. Bruce later married the love of his life and best friend, Coreen “Corkie” Barbash on August 3rd, 1969.

He was a proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Bruce had a passion for fishing and hunting. He loved fishing with his son, Jeremy, on Lake Erie and deep-sea fishing with his son-in-law, Chris, in the Gulf of Mexico. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his beloved granddaughter, Alayna, sharing stories and creating cherished memories. Bruce was also a great storyteller who could always make people laugh with his vivid tales and sense of humor.

Bruce will be missed by: his loving wife of 55 years, Coreen “Corkie”; daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Williams; son, Jeremy (Kristina Clark) Lisy; granddaughter, Alayna Williams; brother, Jim (Pat) Lisy; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Denise Lisy; brother, Ronnie Lisy; and sister, Loretta Jenkins.
