She cherished the time spent with her husband and son, often taking them to explore Houston's Asian markets and discovering new culinary adventures together. Her adventurous palate reflected her approach to life—always eager to experience new things with an open heart.

Daisy took immense pride in her family's appearance, carefully coordinating outfits and ensuring everyone looked their absolute best, especially for church. The morning ritual of getting ready was one she particularly treasured. This attention to detail was characteristic of everything she undertook in life; Daisy approached each task with pride and unwavering commitment.

She is survived by her Husband Aaron Garcia and son Aaron Garcia II, Her parents Celestino Sotelo Gil and Araceli Pita Ortega, and her siblings Paola Dariana Sotelo-Ortega, Emiliano Sotelo-Ortega, and Alexis Ivan Sotelo-Ortega.
