LaVone Stecker (Foster), born on August 20, 1959 passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 65, with her beloved little sister by her side.
LaVone’s life was filled with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. She found joy and fulfillment in landscaping—a passion that began with her first job at Porter’s Landscaping and continued throughout her life. She especially loved mowing grass on her John Deere.
LaVone was a devoted mother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving children, William Shagena, Susan Keenan, and Kathlene Shagena; her dear sisters, Teresa Morris and Loretta Nims; as well as many nieces and nephews who adored her. Her lifelong friendships with Easter Shagena and Cheryl Morris were a cherished part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Kenneth Stecker, and her parents, William and Nancy Foster.
LaVone will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
