Ronald D. Elkins Obituary
Ronald D. Elkins, 83, of Hambden Township, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, April 27th, 2025 at Burton Health Care Center. He was born in Vaughan, West Virginia, on November 7th, 1941 to the late Howard and Hazel (Keith) Elkins.
He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran who retired after many years working as an electrician at First Energy. Ron enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends and spending time with his
granddaughters.
Survivors are his daughter, Shelley (Gerry) Morgan; granddaughters, Brigid and Delaney Morgan; brothers, Elmer (Mary) Elkins and Hoye (Judy) Elkins; sisters, Nadine (Stanley) Preast and Wanda Stewart; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gene and Carl Elkins; and sister, Barbara Holroyd.
Per Ronald’s wishes, a private committal will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Ronald's memory are requested to be made to Traditions Hospice, 677 H Alpha Drive, Highland Heights, Ohio 44143.
