Roxanne Louise Brewer, beloved wife, mother, and sister, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 23, 2025, at the age of 75. Roxanne is survived by her husband of 56 years, Patrick Brewer; daughter, Tricia Brewer; and daughter, Paula (Jeff) Wilson.
Roxanne was born on June 26, 1949, in Iron River, Michigan to Ray and Louise Smith. She was raised in Tipler, Wisconsin and graduated from Florence High School in June 1967. She went on to marry her husband, Patrick, on October 19, 1968, and moved to Cavour, where she served as Caswell Town Clerk for 46 years.
Roxanne enjoyed quilting and was an avid reader. She had many hobbies and was a member of a Canasta club, the Caroxma Quilting Club, and a Trivial Pursuit Club. She was regularly active in her daughters’ school activities and was a member of LHS Band Parents.
Roxanne is further survived by her sisters, Rhonda (Tom) Gayhart, Ronetta Clapsaddle, Raeleen (Randy) Werth, and her brother, Rayne (Pam) Smith. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Louise (Reinke) Smith. In addition to her parents, Roxanne was preceded in death by her brothers, Rockford, Blaine, Ronald, Riley, and Randolph.
The family cannot thank Wausau Aspirus Hospital enough for their expert care. The doctors, nurses, and the entire medical team made Roxanne and her family comfortable during her stay.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 11:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Weber-Hill & Packard Funeral Home in Crandon. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Father Soja Joseph presiding. Inurnment will commence at the Cavour Cemetery in the Town of Caswell.
