Mrs. Mary Woodward Nivens, 85, of Clover, SC, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Novant Health, Bolivia, NC.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at St. Paul Methodist Church, 1550 St. Paul Church Road, Clover, SC with the Rev. Monica Tilley officiating.   Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the Church Fellowship Hall.

Mrs. Nivens was born November 19, 1939 in Chester County, SC to the late John and Elizabeth Johnson Woodward.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Robinson Nivens, a daughter, Terry Lynn Nivens, a grandson, Kenneth Austin Dorsett, a sister, Elizabeth Pyatt, and brother, John Earl Woodard.

Survivors are her son Kenneth Robinson Nivens, Jr. (Michelle) of Fort Mill, SC; daughter Roxanne Nivens Black (Kenneth) of York, SC; sister Ruth Hinson (Curtis) of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren LeAnna Carpenter (Isaac), Joshua Daniel Dorsett, Ethan Smart, Candace Spehar, Jesse Black, and Anthony Black; and six great grandchildren.
