Jerry Dean McKinny, age 79 of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully on April 26th 2025 surrounded by her loving family. 

Born on October 26th, 1945, Jerry was a devoted mother, a hardworking professional, and a beloved member of her community. She dedicated over 30 years of service to Magnavox, where she was known for her commitment, integrity, and work ethic. She retired in 2015, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and respect among her colleagues.

Above all, Jerry was a loving and proud mother. She is survived by her four daughters: Sheryl Lee White, Sherry Lynne White, Monica LaRea Luckett (Stephen Williams) and Jean Ann McKinny (Quentin Jones), Sister Linda Martin, Special Niece Sonja Denise Jones (Michael Jones) along with her grandchildren LeKeshia Taylor, Gaylon Lewis II, Julian Lewis, Sierra Luckett, MacKenzie Luckett and a host of great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her strength, guidance, and unconditional love.

Jerry was preceded in death by her parents Jordan and Annie Bell White as well as siblings.

She will be remembered for her warm heart, her quiet strength, and her unwavering support for her family. Her memory will live on in the lives of those she touched.

The family has requested a private home going celebration for Jerry.
