Sondra Lee Oliver Obituary
Sondra Oliver, 76 year old former Woodward resident, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025 in Oklahoma City surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Sondra Lee (Marston) Oliver was born on August 17, 1948 in Garden City, Kansas to Calvin Lester "Cotton" and Alberta Orva (Kornele) Marston. Sondra grew up in Woodward and attended Woodward schools. She was united in marriage to Clifford O. Scott Jr. on October 15, 1965. They were blessed with three children: Angela, Jenny, and Clifford. They made their first home in Wichita, Kansas before moving to Woodward. Sondra worked as a Phlebotomist, a Patient Care Tech for nursing homes, and was a Substance Abuse Counselor. Sondra has lived in Crescent for the past 17 years.
She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her special girlfriends: Judy, Sally, and Debby. She also enjoyed growing her flower gardens, playing the slot machines, searching for great deals at garage sales and thrift shops, cooking, baking and doing ceramics with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Angela R. Johnson and husband David, Jenny R. Belew and husband Marc; one son, Clifford M. Scott and wife Niki; four grandchildren: Meagan Luellen and husband Marcus, Sierra Sturgis, Emily De Hoog and husband Steven, Irelyn Scott; six great-grandchildren: Hunter Luellen, Collier Sturgis, Hudson Luellen, Adler Sturgis, Emma Luellen, Theodore De Hoog; brothers: C.L. Marston JR, J.R. Marston, Willie Smith and wife Kay; sisters: Rita Airington and husband Bob, Audry Stewart and husband Gale, Donna Mains and husband Eddie, Kandy Fifield, Ona Hall; other relatives and many friends.
Sondra was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Graden Fifield, nephew Dallas Fifield, great-nephew, Matthew G. Scott IV, and sister-in-law, Nora Marston.
