Larry Steve Griffin of Niceville, Florida passed away too soon on April 27, 2025 at 63 years of age after five years of bravely fighting cancer. He is survived by his daughter Chelsea Griffin Izaguirre and her husband Eric Izaguirre of Camarillo, California; and his mother, Andrea Ebat Skelton of Las Vegas, Nevada. His father Larry S. Griffin, Sr. of Salem, Illinois preceded him in death.

Larry was born and raised in Oxnard, California, a beautiful beach community along the California coast. He moved to Niceville in 2018. He settled into Niceville so comfortably because of the familiar beaches, fishing nooks, and golf courses. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, and Harley Davidson motorcyclist. He cherished his family and friends. He was affectionately known as "Big Lar" and loved by so many. Larry will be remembered for his loving heart, generous spirit, and a life fully lived exactly as he wanted.
