Linda Sue Groves Obituary
Linda Sue Groves age 80, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born March 16, 1945 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Willie Hall Condict and Bertha Louella (Wallis) Condict. She married Elvin Eugene Groves on May 15, 1964 and to this union was 4 children.
She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church in Loudon, TN. She enjoyed doing the Shoe Box Ministries. She loved serving people. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, baking, doing mission work, spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids and loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed serving her Lord.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Elvin Groves; sisters, Ella Star, Norma Barnes, Lola McElroy, Sylvia Rose Head; brothers, Bill Condict, Cecil Carol Condict, Ray Condict, and Marvin Condict.
Linda is survived by her children, Ricky Dale Groves and wife Monica of Yeager, OK, Terry Wayne Groves and wife Pat of Harrah, OK, Tina Renae Groves Clower and husband Jerry of Cromwell, OK, Tamra Janene Groves Hill and husband John of Loudon, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy Groves, Justin Groves, Ashley Whited, Chalee Maloy, Brandon Groves, Jaiden Clower, Chase Groves, Ryan Hill and Caleb Hill; numerous great grandchildren; sister Wilma Scott of The Woodlands, TX; brother, Wendell Condict and wife Betty of Moore, OK along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 2, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Pastor Charles Jones officiating. Interment to follow at Schoolton Cemetery in Cromwell, OK.
Pallbearers: Chase Groves, Justin Groves, Jaiden Clower, Jeremy Groves, Ryan Hill and Caleb Hill.
Honorary pallbearer: Curtis Whited.
