Affectionately known as “Nana”, Diana Baca passed away at home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the age of 78 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on December 14, 1946, in Los Angeles, CA. Diana was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished Nana, caring sister and dear friend. She was always ready with a warm hug and comforting smile. She had a generous heart and was always there to offer a helping hand. Diana leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and family spirit. She is survived by her husband Herman whom she was married to for 59 years; her children Marlene Plunkett (Dan Plunkett), Gaylene Dizmang (Mike Dizmang), Eileen Willie (Robert Willie), Herman Baca; her beloved grandchildren Christopher, James, Hunter, Anthony, Little Eileen, Irene, Nathan, Benny, Raelene; and her great-grandchildren, Danica, Levi and Honey. She was also loved and known as Nana to many other family members and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June13, 2025.
