Anthony C. Benedetto, community leader and longtime President of the Delaware Valley Youth Athletic Association, passed away on April 27, 2025 at age 77.  A tireless advocate for young athletes, Anthony devoted many years to mentoring, coaching, and inspiring generations of youth through sports. His passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the community touched countless lives and left a lasting legacy. In honor of his dedication, the athletic field at 19th and Johnson Streets proudly bears his name — a tribute to the profound impact he made on so many. He was the Beloved Husband of the late Diane (nee Ambrose); Loving Father of Deborah (Scott) McConnell, Holly (Larry) Borieli, Anthony W. (Miranda) Benedetto, and the late Joy Benedetto; Dear Pop Pop of Sara, Toni, Penelope, and the late Dianna. There will be a small memorial service on Saturday May 3rd from 12-3pm at his daughters house. Services not at funeral home. Interment private.
