Gloria J. Steffey, 77, passed away peacefully Saturday morning April 26. She was born August 31, 1947, in Lewistown, Penna, a daughter of the late John and Catherine Shingler Laughlin. After graduating from Austintown Fitch in 1965, Gloria finished her education at Youngstown State University.  She taught at Chaney High School, and went on to work at Bank One, Calvary Baptist Church and Abundant Harvest Church where she worshiped. Gloria was an avid reader and sang in the Kathryn Kuhlman Choir. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband James A. Steffey, whom she married on March 25, 1972, sister Dolores Laughlin and many friends from church. 

Friends may call from 10 to 10:50 Friday May 2, 2025, at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by her friend Pastor Joann Pangio.

 She will be laid to rest at Lake Park Cemetery.
