Jeanne M. Butzko, 69, of Aberdeen, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Arnold Walter in Holmdel, New Jersey. She was born Jeanne M. McMahon on October 1, 1955, in Mineola, New York, where she spent her early childhood years and at eight years old, she moved to the Strathmore Section of Aberdeen, New Jersey with her family. On September 14, 1985, Jeanne married her soulmate, Andrew, and began their life together in Keansburg, before settling in Aberdeen, where they raised their family.
Throughout her life, Jeanne was a devoted wife and mother. In her earlier years, she was a loving homemaker, as well as a private housekeeper and nanny. Later, she worked as a Sunday school teacher at Matawan United Methodist Church, where she was a devout member, and founded and operated their food pantry. In her spare time, Jeanne enjoyed painting and needlepoint, and loved visiting flea markets, garage sales, and any type of thrifty shopping. Above all else, Jeanne adored her family. She will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Joseph and Theresa (McTigue) McMahon, her son, Andrew Paul Butzko Jr., and her sister, Christine Schweitzer. Jeanne is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 39 years, Andrew Butzko, her loving children, Courtney Lachiver and her husband, Christian, of Old Bridge, Lyndsay Butzko of Aberdeen, and Jonathan Butzko of Aberdeen, her sisters, Theresa McMahon and Regina Zombo, and several cherished nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A church service will be offered on Saturday morning, May 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Matawan United Methodist Church, 478 S Atlantic Ave, Matawan, NJ 07747. In respect of Jeanne’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.
