Emery Lee McGehee, 89, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away on April 27, 2025, in Fort Smith,
Arkansas. He was born in Union Valley, Arkansas to Claude Hugh and Dewey Gates Dalton
McGehee. Emery was a U.S. Air Force veteran and systems analyst for the Air Force, he also
was retired from Whirlpool. He was of the Church of Christ faith. Emery was preceded in death
by his wife Wanda (Carson) McGehee and a daughter, Rhonda Veilleux.
Funeral service is 10:00AM, Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home with a
private graveside to follow. The family will visit with friends from 4-6PM on Friday at the
funeral home.
He is survived by his three daughters, Lisa Thames of Greenwood, AR, Michele DeAugustine of
Summerville, SC and Liana Bolton of Hackett, AR: 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2
great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Todd Bolton, Christopher DeAugustine, Don Thames, Michael Veilleux, Dan
Thames, Stephen Ramey, Duc Nguyen and Mike Whisenhunt.
