With broken hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Thomas Lee Dutcher Jr., lovingly known as Tommy, who left this world far too soon on April 27, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on April 8, 1980, in Pennsylvania, Tommy was the beloved son of Thomas Dutcher Sr. and Patty Dutcher.
Tommy was a man of deep character, quiet strength, and endless generosity. He lived life with passion, purpose, and an unwavering dedication to those he loved. As the proud owner of Top Knotch Concrete Services, Tommy poured his heart and soul into his work, becoming not only a master of his craft but a rock for his family—always dependable, always giving. He used his skills not just to build things, but to take care of the people he cared about, never hesitating to lend a hand or step in when someone needed him. Known by many as a “jack of all trades, master of concrete,” he could build, fix, or improve just about anything—and he did it with pride and passion.
But beyond his skills, it was his heart that defined him. Tommy was the kind of man who would drop everything to help a friend or family member, no matter what he was facing himself. His kindness knew no bounds, and his loyalty ran deep. He was always there with a helping hand, a warm smile, and a fierce determination to make things better for those around him.
Tommy’s true joy came from the simple things: casting a line on a lake, walking through the woods during hunting season, tinkering under the hood of a car, and sharing stories and laughs with the people he loved most. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a constant source of strength to his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betsy Dutcher, and their two beautiful children, Logan Donnelly and Lilly Dutcher, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Patty Dutcher; his beloved uncle and aunt Stanley Eib, Susan Eib, his cousins Nathan Jarvis, Tyler, and Justin Eib, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Dutcher Sr., and his grandparents, Stanley and Lois Eib, whose love helped shape the man he became.
He also leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including his sister-in-law Shyann Dolly, brother-in-law James Lynn Davis, “Little Jake” and Family, James Davis, “Big Red” and Family, Allen Davis and Family, Stephen Donnelly and Family, his father-in-law Randy Davis, and mother-in-law Sandra Edens, each of whom shared a deep bond with Tommy.
A family hosted Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be lovingly announced when plans are finalized. The family invites all who knew and loved Tommy to join in honoring his incredible life, sharing stories, and remembering the joy he brought to so many.
The Dutcher family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has offered love, support, and comfort during this difficult time. Your kindness is a reminder of the lives Tommy touched and the legacy of compassion he leaves behind.
