Frances Elizabeth Taylor Beasley, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away on Aoril 27, 2025, at her home in Milton, FL, in the community of Allentown. Her final days were spent peacefully surrounded by family.
Elizabeth was born on February 1, 1936, in Brewton, Alabama, to Lee Olivet Taylor and Mattie Leona Grissett Taylor. Due to her mother’s passing less than a month after her birth, Elizabeth was lovingly raised by her uncle and aunt, William David Taylor and Annie Wells Taylor, who were the only parents she knew. She was raised in the community of Allentown and graduated from Allentown High School. She married Leon Levon Beasley in 1953 and spent the next 20 years traveling, working, and raising three children as a military wife. After military service, she and her husband settled in Merritt Island, Florida, where she worked at Kennedy Space Center for the next 10 years. In 1976, her family moved back to the Allentown community and built the final home on her family land.
Known for her tenacious personality and her passion for helping others, Elizabeth easily made personal connections in all her endeavors. She found great joy in cooking for others, growing plants, and the mission of Eastern Star. She created many fond memories for her family through large gatherings, delicious meals, and holiday celebrations. There was always an extra place at the table for anyone who needed a meal.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Levon Beasley; daughter, Pamela Bealsey; two sisters, Joyce Rolin, Eunice Morgan; and four brothers, Sonny Taylor, Buddy Taylor, Ray Taylor, and Levon Taylor.
She will be greatly missed by those she left behind. She is survived by her son, James (Wanda) Beasley; daughter, Elizabeth (Scott) Krein; 10 grandchildren, Holli (Robert) Wargo, Michael (Brett Carollo) Beasley, Dave (Olivia) Beasley, Tim (Jess Richmond) Beasley, Bernice Albert, Jonathan (Debra) Albert, Lisa Cowan, Miles Krein, Ian Krein, Olivia Krein; and six great-grandchildren, Cody Webb, Payton Webb, David Beasley, Taylor Beasley, Luke Wargo, and Charles Wargo.
