George Khalil Nashawaty of Brockton, formerly of Canton, passed away peacefully among family on April 26, 2025. He was 76 years old. George could fix anything, was incredibly knowledgeable and had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed loud ‘Oldies’ music, working on cars and was very fond of animals. US Army Veteran of the 192nd AHC. Beloved son of the late Khalil and Anna Nashawaty. Former husband of Eleanor Duffek. Proud father of Christopher G. Nashawaty & his wife Viyaleta Nashawaty of Boca Raton, FL and the late Felix Nashawaty. Loving brother of Patricia Hanson of Canton, Fred Nashawaty of N.H., Charles Nashawaty of Mansfield and the late David Nashawaty. Proud grandfather of Liliana Nashawaty and Adriana Nashawaty. He also leaves behind his beloved cat Casey and K9 companions Max & Opie. A memorial service will be held from 12PM-1PM at The American Legion Hall followed by a celebration of life until 4PM on Saturday May 3, 2025.
