Age 74 of Forest Lake, passed into eternal life on April 27, 2025.

He is survived by loving sons, James, Jr. (Annette) and Rick (Elizabeth). He was the proud and loving grandfather (aka “Papa) of Paige (fiancé, Owen Matzek), Ellie, and Sophia. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Luella (Rogalla) Gregoire; his brothers, Henry and Joe; his sisters, Mary Lou and Henrietta; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was a graduate of Forest Lake High School, Class of 1968 and was a lifelong resident of Forest Lake & Hugo area. Jim proudly served in the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He worked for many years at Yellow Freight as a truck driver. He loved helping others and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

A celebration gathering of Jim’s life will be 4-8 PM Wednesday, May 21st at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Interment, Saint John the Baptist Cemetery.
