Joe Dewayne Jones, 69, Butler Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating. Burial will follow in Heltsley Cemetery, Clifty, KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the funeral home. 

A native of Todd County, KY, he was born April 20, 1956, the son of the late JD Jones and the late Earlene (Harris) Jones. 

Joe was an operator for the State Highway Department. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Jones; his daughter, Angie Jones; and his brother, Wesley Jones.

Survivors include his partner of 25 years, Nancy Johnson, Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Reggie Jones, Trenton, KY; his brothers, Wendell Jones and David (Cheryl) Jones, both of Hopkinsville, KY; his sisters, Brenda (Roger) Allen, Linda (Mike) Blankenship, and Melissa (Jake) McCarty, all of Hopkinsville, KY; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
