Norma Louise Kreiner, age 92, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Stone Lodge Memory Care in Shepherd.
Funeral Services for Norma will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Donald Ferris-McCann officiating. Interment will follow in Denver Township Cemetery. A Luncheon will take place in the Reflections Reception Center following the Committal Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Memorial Library. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Norma was born on May 26, 1932, in Leaton, daughter of Hubbard Joseph and Hazel Baulah (Lennox) Kreiner. Norma graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1951. She continued her education at the Lansing Business University graduating in 1959. Norma worked as the Executive Secretary and Finance Secretary for the First Presbyterian church before moving to California to work for Dow Chemical. Her time at Dow moved her to Houston, Texas, then back to Michigan, working in Midland as a Dow Executive for 40 years. After retiring, she served as the secretary at Union Township and the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant, as well as selling Tupperware, PartyLite, and Fenton. Norma was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gift wrapping, bow making, cooking, and loved shopping collectibles, especially fine ones on QVC. She also enjoyed art and Art Reach, but her main passion in life was her love for helping others.
Norma is survived by many nieces and nephews, including, Thomas (Libby) Kreiner, Dennis (Karen) Kreiner, Kenneth Kreiner, Karen (Randy) Buendorf, Mike (Tracy) Krauss, Larry (Mary) Krauss, Cindy McBride, Rhonda Kreiner, Katherine Andress, Susan (Dan) Brown, Lorrie Williams, and Carajane Bott.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Connie Kreiner and Carol (Ace) Krauss; brothers, Ronald (Phyllis) Kreiner and Dean (Judy) Kreiner; nephew, Berry Kreiner.
