Tammy Sue Keener, 60, passed away on April 27, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Born on December 6, 1964, Tammy was the beloved daughter of Donald Wayne Keener and Lela Rebecca Keener, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Todd Wayne Keener.

Tammy shared a devoted and enduring partnership with her husband, Bobby Lee Pinkleton Jr., with whom she spent 32 loving years. Together they built a life centered around family and unwavering support for one another.

She was a proud and caring mother to five daughters: Alaura Love Pinkleton, Prycinthia Leigh Pinkleton, Jennifer Rebecca Roland, Shannon Renee Roland, and Annya Nicole Roland. Her love extended deeply to her grandchildren—Steven Alexander Hyler, Aaliyah Ellis, Elijah Hammonds, Jacob Hammonds, Ava Roland, Hazel Roland, Branden Stokes, Sarah Stokes, and Rebecca Stokes—and to her great-grandchildren Violet Musik, Charlie Livingston, and Sage Livingston.

Tammy worked tirelessly throughout her life to provide for those she loved. Her dedication to her family never wavered; she continued to care for her children even into their adulthood. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—playing video games like Zelda with her grandchildren brought her happiness and connection across generations.

A spirited enthusiast of Ford Mustangs and fast driving—a passion she inherited from her father—Tammy embraced life with energy and enthusiasm. She also held a special place in her heart for her dog Boris "D.O.G" Pinkleton.

To those who knew her best, Tammy was affectionately known as “Mutter” or “Momma,” titles that reflected the warmth and strength she brought into every relationship. Her presence was a constant source of comfort and guidance.

Tammy’s memory will live on through the lives she touched. As she rests peacefully with her Lord and Savior, may those who loved her find solace in the lessons she shared and the love she gave so freely. In her words: it’s never goodbye—it’s always “I’ll see you later.”
