Barbara Jean Rayburn, 90, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker and member of Cedar Cross Missionary Baptist Church where she joined at the age of 13. She was a daughter of the late Lewis Davison Spencer and Ruth Ellen Wood Spencer and wife of the late Samuel Rayburn.
She is survived by 3 sons: David Humphrey (Jenna); Bruce Humphrey, all of Scottsville, KY; Frank Rayburn, Clarksville, TN;
Scott's fiancee': Linda Mundy, Portland, TN;
4 grandchildren: Brandy Murley (Jeremy); Lily Rayburn, Huston Humphrey and Haley Humphrey Payne (Christian);
2 step granddaughters: Sarah Atchley and Crystal Miles;
1 great granddaughter: Harper Marie Payne;
She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Tony Humphrey and Scott Rayburn; 2 sisters: Mayme Kirk and Clara Eaton; 5 brothers: Wayne, Carl, Read, Charles and Neal Spencer.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Robby Calvert officiating and burial in Cedar Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and 7:00 A.M. until funeral time Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.
