Dona dedicated her life to helping others, serving as a teacher for 13 years and as a registered nurse for 17 years. Her passion for education and healthcare reflected her deep commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those around her.
Dona had a love for travel, particularly enjoying trips to the beach and visits to Disney, where she created cherished memories. She also relished dining out and spending quality time with her family, always seeking to create joyful experiences together.
Dona was known for her generosity and her vibrant personality, making her a delight to be around. Her warm smile and contagious laughter could light up any room, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Reed Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Ginger Reed of Davenport, Florida; her best friend of 40 years, Mike Bryan of West Monroe, Louisiana; her children, Callie Bryan of West Monroe, Louisiana, and Hayley Grantham, along with her husband Scott, of Calhoun, Louisiana.
Dona is also survived by her siblings, Julie Thornhill and her husband Blaine of West Monroe, Louisiana, and David Reed Jr. and his wife Nichole of Davenport, Florida. Her legacy will live on through her beloved grandchildren: Riley Bryan, Logan Bryan, Noah Bryan, Gracie Pickard, Peyton Grantham, and Lilli Grantham.
The pallbearers honoring Dona's memory will be Matthew Thornhill, Buddy Black, Doug Brodnax, David Graham, and Scott Hall.
Her spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
