With deep love, we celebrate the life of Pamela Nadina Busby, a vibrant soul who touched everyone she met. Born in San Nicholas, Aruba, to Elfrida Philipps and the late Rev. Felix (Chilo) Busby, Pamela lived a life full of warmth, adventure, and compassion.
She migrated to St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands as a teenager, attended Central High School, and later welcomed her cherished daughter, Shermira Busby, lovingly known as Shu Shu. Her journey took her to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Antigua before she settled in Brooklyn, New York, where she worked as a medical assistant providing hospice care.
Pamela’s greatest joys were her family, especially her grandchildren, Karmelisha, Adonis, and Aria. Her love language was quality time, often shared through the food she lovingly prepared to bring people together. Her welcoming spirit made everyone feel at home.
Pamela leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and connection. Her light will continue to shine through her daughter, grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched.
Forever in our hearts.
