James was merely lent to us as a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a uncle, a cousin and a friend until he fell asleep in death, April 23, 2025. All who love him will truly miss him, and we will always carry him in our hearts.
We can never really lose what we have once loved; all that we deeply love hecomes part of us, such as the beautiful memories we all share of Mr. James Earl Harper, IR, who made his arrival into the world on November 7, 1962 in French Camp, CA to the parentage of Tamani Ethel Easter-Brice & James Earl Harper, Sr:
James attended various primary schools and Edison High School in Stockton, CA; shortly after finishing high school, he held numerus jobs. James had a passion for classic cars and their joy in the simple pleasure of a well-maintained machine. Moreover, if you knew James you know that he loved Cadillac Cars and he enjoyed working on them and fixing them up.
James was a strong & vibrant man, family & friends will remember him as friendly, dependable and easy to be around. His smile and personality would light up amy room. Through he had his fair share of struggles and obstacles.
He lived a happy & fuffiling life. James loved to reminisce and tell a good story he was a comedian in his own right, but the mast precious thing to James was family whom he loved with his whole heart. James was also a die-heart San Francisco 4gers Fan.
"What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put apart" Mark 10:9 James was blessed to unite and become one with Alexis Harper. From this marriage, they had one son, Jevion Harper. For a period of time they in lived in San Francisco, along with her older children Asiana & Bernard James leaves his memory etched in the hearts of his wife: Alexis Harper; mother: Tamani Ethel Easter-Brice (Elder Lloyd Brice); Children: Jamie Harper, James Harper, Jasmine Harper, Jashaun Harper, Jalana Harper, Jaylen Harper, Jevion O. Harper, Rati Queen, Christopher Sutton, Philip Henderson, Mariah, Boykins, Chris Lewis, Aesiana Hodges & Bernard I. Stokes; siblings: Cozette Harper, Ruben Harper, Tammy Harper, Ramond Harper, Morris Harper, & Lamonte Harper; A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family & friends.
James is preceded in death by his father: James E Harper, SRi siblings: Stacy Harper, Evester Ray Harper, Michelle Harper, Kojack Harper & Tony Harper.
