EAST LIVERPOOL – Linda M. Carroll, 67, of East Liverpool, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Linda was born on December 3, 1957, in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late James F. and Pearl R. (Chipps) Quarterman. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1977. Linda worked at Hall China as a cast operator. She enjoyed watching NCIS and spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceding Linda in death were her husband Daniel Carroll, Sr.; two sisters Virginia Hutchinson and Wilma Quarterman; brother James B. Quarterman and brother-in-law Dave Tice.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Anna M. Lutman and her husband Andrew of Fremont, Ohio; two sons Charles J. Quarterman and his wife Shyia of East Liverpool and Daniel Carroll, Jr. and his wife Amber of East Liverpool; seventeen grandchildren Dezzy, Stacie, Daniel, Charlie, Carley, Nathan, Shyann, Jesse, Caitlin, Andrew, Randy, Kristen, Daniel, Austin, Connor, Eythan, and K.K.; six great grandchildren Stephyn, Noah, Nova, Penelope, Kai and Greyson; seven sisters Ila Tice, Sandy Durk and her husband Andrew, Mary Quarterman, Cindy Smith and her husband Allan, Betty Beaver and her husband Ed, Loretta Hicks and her husband Mike and Crystal Lawson and three brothers Floyd Quarterman and his wife Sally, Roger Quarterman and his wife Mary Jane and David Quarterman and his wife Lisa.
Friends may visit Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor George White will conduct a funeral service on Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Following the service the family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
