George Earl Chester Knapp passed away suddenly on April 27, 2025, at the age of 69 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Thelma (Conners) Knapp; by his daughter Kate; his son Daniel (Claire); and by his grandchildren Kathleen, Mitchell, MacKenzie and Brendon. Also survived by his siblings Claude (Wendy), Nancy, Hugh (Sharon) and Cherilyn (Al); and by his special cousin Marg. Predeceased by an infant son Troy; his parents Kaye and Earl; and by his sisters Doris and Cheslyn. He will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 11 am – 1pm with a graveside service at 1 pm in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens followed by a reception.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.
