Thomas Scott Griffin Obituary


Thomas Scott Griffin of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, 4/26/25,

from Lewy Bodies Dementia.   He was initially misdiagnosed with Alzheimer‘s, 10 years earlier.

Tom was retired from banking where he worked for multiple western banks and it was while working at Security Pacific National Bank in San Jose, California, that he met Jane, his wife of 45 years.  He became Vice President of Real Estate Finance at the age of 29.


He was later promoted to Senior V.P. and he worked with many national home builders.

Tom loved his family, his San Francisco 49ers, gardening, music and traveling.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel and his father, John.

Tom is survived by his wife Jane, his son, Justin (Michelle Pagnani), daughter, Katherine (Christopher Hickman), grandchildren, Beatrix and John, daughter, Amy (William Sherwood), his beloved collie and many grand-dogs.

He is also survived by 3 brothers, one sister, and multiple in-laws, nieces and nephews.


We will forever miss his generous spirit and his sense of humor. Rest in peace, Bear.
