Mario F. DelGreco, age 62, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and a deep love for the people and things that brought him joy.

Beloved husband of Karen for 39 wonderful years, Mario was a devoted partner and best friend. Their time together was filled with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories, including simple walks in the park and thoughtfully planned date nights fueled by Mario’s passion for food and discovering new restaurants.

Mario was preceded in death by his parents, Mario and Frances DelGreco. He is survived by his loving wife Karen and his faithful dog Cooper, who brought him endless comfort and companionship.

A lifelong fan of Detroit sports, Mario's heart belonged to the Tigers and the Lions. For over 30 years, he proudly held Lions season tickets, attending games with the same excitement each season. Whether surrounded by friends watching a game or sharing stories over a meal, Mario brought warmth and laughter to every gathering.

He was a kind and generous man, always willing to lend a hand or offer a kind word. In his final act of giving, Mario made a selfless donation to Gift of Life, ensuring that others would be helped even in his passing.

Mario will be remembered for his big heart, his love of life’s simple pleasures, and the many lives he touched.

In accordance with his family’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held.

In remembrance of Mario, the family encourages friends to honor his memory by enjoying a good meal with someone they love—or cheering on Detroit, just as he always did.
