Steven Roger Hamilton, 67, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away at 3:28 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. Born November 14, 1957, in Kokomo, he was the son of the late Raymond E. and Loma (Rogers) Hamilton. In 1976, Steven married Candice Elaine Campbell, who preceded him in death on January 13, 2023.

Steven proudly served with the United States Army from 1987 to 1992. Following his military service, he worked as a forklift driver for Indiana Packers until his retirement. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed playing chess, Monopoly, darts, and pool. He loved spending time with family and walking the trails around Kokomo. A devoted fan of heavy metal music, Steven also enjoyed lively debates on topics such as religion, politics, and family history. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

Steven is survived by his daughter, Amy Williams; his son, William Hamilton; his son-in-law, Benjamin Henn; and grandchildren, Aliva Henn and Carson Henn; sister, Sheryl (Wesley) Hamilton Jeffries; sisters-in-law, Angela (Robbie) Seals and Lisa Campbell; and brothers-in-law, Eric (Maryellen) Campbell and Victor Walker.

In addition to his parents and wife, Steven was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Henn; and siblings, Karen Hamilton, Kimberly Hamilton Walker, and Raymond E. Hamilton Jr.

A funeral service will be held at Noon Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson Street, Kokomo, with Pastor Richard Wrightsman officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
