Patricia Brink (nee Hughes)

March 17, 1946-April 27, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Patricia Brink announces her passing on April 27, 2025, at the age of 79.

Patricia was the beloved wife of John Brink for 60 wonderful years. She was a cherished mother to Doug Brink and a proud grandmother to John and Julian Brink. She is predeceased by her parents, Martin and May Hughes.

Patricia’s kindness, honesty, and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever she went. Patricia was truly the nicest person, known for her warm heart and her love for life. She and John had known each other since the age of 12, growing up as neighbors in Montreal, and their truly remarkable love story was one that they both treasured every second.

A top-notch real estate agent in the Windsor-Essex area, Patricia’s passion for helping others was reflected in her professional and personal life. Outside of work, she found joy in walking, exploring the Ojibway Nature Reserve, and gardening. Her love for nature, cooking, and all things beautiful was evident in everything she did.

Patricia’s memory will live on in the hearts of her extended family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

As per Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Transition to Betterness (T2B) in Patricia’s memory.
