Judith Anne Huff Obituary

Judith Anne Huff, 84, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on August, 29, 1940 in Hamilton, Ohio to Jake and Rowena Robinette (Lumpe).

She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1959 then proceeded to attend Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. She married her high school sweetheart, James Huff, on July 19, 1960 who proceeded her in death in 2011.

She is survived by her two children Pamela Koerner (Thomas) of Fairfield and Penelope Bowling (Randy) of Chavies, KY. Also surviving are her 6 Grandchildren; Jason Huff, Jennifer Maxam, K.J. (Rhea) Bowling, Matthew (Whitney) Bowling, Patrick (Laura) Koerner and Samantha (Zach) Rupert. Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren; Ava, Wesley, Daisy, Gabriel, Evie, Konrad and Kensleigh.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was proceeded in death by her sister Ruth Chadwell.

As a skilled nurse, Judy dedicated her life to helping others, offering not just her knowledge but her caring heart to every patient she cared for. This was especially evident in her later years as a Hospice nurse. She loved camping and spent much time traveling and making memories with her family. She also loved animals and spent time volunteering at local animal shelters. She also had many rescue dogs and cats over the years that she treasured. She loved sewing and making doll clothes for her granddaughers Barbie dolls. She truly enjoyed watching Hallmark Christmas movies while curled up in her “Hallmark Movie Watching” blanket. She loved adult coloring and puzzles. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whether it be a day at the zoo or watching one of their activities. All of her children and grandchildren will hold tight to the lessons she taught us – to love with our whole hearts, to be patient with ourselves and others, and to cherish the time we have. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the Nurses and Aides at Majestic Care – Fairfield (3rd floor Memory Care) and Vitas for their excellent and compassionate care during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to P.A.W.S. Adoption Center – Monroe, OH or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 3rd from 9 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 9:30 AM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 3950 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton, OH 45015. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery (Hamilton, OH).
