Lucille "Lucy" Cork Obituary

Lucille “Lucy” I. Cork, 83, Minot, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Baptist Health & Rehab in Bismarck.


Lucille Irene Cork was born on July 22, 1941, the daughter of Maurice Oler and Luella (Seibel) Oler in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Minot, where she graduated from Minot High School in 1960.


Lucy was united in marriage to Norman Daniel Cork on May 8, 1970, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Minot, ND. They celebrated 54 years of marriage together. They made their home in Minot, where they raised their two sons Travis and Vincent. In addition, Lucy worked for the Pepsi Bottling Company, drove school bus for South Prairie School, and owned and operated Lucy’s Amusement Park, recently celebrating 57 years of operation.


Lucy enjoyed relationships and creating family fun. She enjoyed drawing and painting. She loved sharing scripture with people. Lucy was a member of the Home Church of the Nazarene, Minot.


Lucy is survived by: sons, Travis (Jade) Cork; Vincent (Alyson) Cork; grandchildren, Brendan, Alytris, Keeva Cork; Ferley, Wellington, and Uriyah Cork; great-granddaughter Evelyn; siblings, Phyllis Rosendahl, Clayton Oler; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.


Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Cork; and siblings Oliver and Bud.


Celebration of Life for Lucy and Norman: Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Home Church of the Nazarene. More information will be shared at a later date.

Burial: At the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND. More information will be shared at a later date.
