Barbara McAden Obituary

Barbara Ann McAden (Curry), 77 of Gordonville, TX, passed away on April 26th, 2025.

She was born on September 10, 1947, in Whitesboro TX, to W.M. and Christine Curry.

She is survived by a sister, Patsy Brown, and was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Curry.

Barbara was known for her love of cooking for the holidays, fishing, working in the yard and spending time with family.

She is survived by her children, Curtis McAden and his wife Melissa, and Crystal Jones and her husband Larry.

She was a proud grandmother to Jessica Montminy (husband Brandan), Nikki Miller (husband Jeremiah), Dalton McAden (wife Katlyn), Hannah Salinas (Husband Tony), Jeff Waggoner and Steven Waggoner. Her great-grandchildren include Ethan and Keira Montminy, Jeremiah and Jordan Salinas, and McKinley Mason.

Barbara also had a close bond with her beloved nephew Robert Brown, along with many other nieces, nephews and dear family friends.


In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the cancer charity of your choice.
