Mrs. Miffy Louise Lindsley Moffitt, 79, resident of Thomasville, died April 27, 2025, at High Point Medical Center.

She was born July 22, 1945, in Randolph County, a daughter to William Burton Lindsley and Ruby Blondedale Lindsley. As a resident of this area all her life, she worked in the furniture industry with Shaw, Furnitureland South, Preba, and several other companies. Mrs. Moffitt also was general manager of Ramma Woods Apartments for 18 years with Weaver Realty and, in earlier years, worked for the Randolph County School System. She also attended Vintage Church in Randleman and Linwood Baptist Church in Linwood. Miffy had an infectious laugh and fun-loving spirit, especially when shagging to her beach music. Above all else, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are three sons, Tommy Moffitt (Rhonda) of Sophia, Brian Moffitt (Rebecca) of Trinity and Stephen Moffitt (Shannon) of Trinity; a sister, Linda Richardson of Randleman; a half-sister, Nancy Fogleman of Asheboro; ten grandchildren, Zach, Daniel, Michaela, Brandy, Chris, Helen, Thad, Harrison, Trace and Avery; nine great grandchildren; Mary Grace, Levi, Jenson, Easton, Jackson, Presley, Sonny, Nova, Karleigh and Peyton; two special friends, Barbara McNeil and Dottie Davis; and an additional great granddaughter due any day now. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Stella Rose Bowman.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Kenny Crosswhite officiating.
