Edward Fischer Obituary
Edward L. Fischer, 78, of Lafayette passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at IU Health Hospital.
Edward was born May 18, 1946, in Lafayette, IN, to the late George and Dorothy (Duffy) Fischer. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, baseball and auto mechanics- he was always tinkering or fixing things.
Surviving are his children: Laura Long of Flora, Scott Fischer, Renee Gorman, Mandy Zarate and Cory Whitaker all of Lafayette; siblings: Dottie (Don) Findley of Monticello, Jim Fischer of Florida and Donna Fischer of West Lafayette; ten grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in passing by his parents and siblings, Fred Fischer, Nancy McCoy and Phyllis Gill.
