Manuel "Juancho" Torres passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. Manuel, born on May 6, 1948 in Colón, Panama. Beloved son of Juan Manuel Torres, and Aida Echeverría Bagues. Husband to Maria Judith Torres (deceased) and is survived by his siblings. Loving father to his children Juan Manuel Torres (deceased) Dericka Torres (deceased) Manuel Torres Jr, Jessica Torres, Delilah Torres. And a host of grandkids and great grandkids. 

Born Manuel Torres Echeverría; a boxer from Panama, better known as JUANCHO RUIZ,  started his career in 1965 with a record of 85.71% Ko’s.  He also coached and trained at local boxing clubs in Newark. He will be missed by those he encountered throughout life, and it goes without saying

he represented his country of Panama with great pride!

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Sunday May 4th from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
