Wilson David Obituary

Wilson D. David passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 83. Born on July 1, 1941, in Habaniyah Ramadi, Iraq, to the late Daryawish David and Araxi Mosesian, Wilson's journey was one marked by dedication, service, and the warmth of his generous spirit.

Wilson's early years were shaped by the rich cultural tapestry of his birthplace, but his ambitions and dreams led him to a life of distinguished service. His career was characterized by countless roles as a manager, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and a steadfast commitment to excellence. His commitment to his country was evident in his contract service with the Department of Defense. In his retirement, Wilson found joy in simpler pleasures, greeting customers with his warm smile at Walmart, a role he cherished for the opportunity it gave him to connect with people from all walks of life.

Family was the cornerstone of Wilson's life. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Vera David, with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring partnership of 49 years. His legacy continues through his son, Jonathan David, the light of his life, and his six grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy. Wilson was a cherished brother to his surviving siblings, Alice, Gladys, Juliana, and Dixon David. He was predeceased by his father, Daryawish David; his mother, Araxi Mosesian; and his brother, Johnson David.

Wilson found solace and strength in fellowship with his church community, where he was known for his interesting stories and conversations. His generosity extended beyond his immediate circle, touching the lives of many who had the privilege of knowing him. Wilson's presence was a blessing to his friends and loved ones, and his absence will be deeply felt by all.

An avid family man, Wilson's happiest moments were spent in the company of his six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and his cherished daughter-in-law, participating in family activities.

Wilson Daryawish David's story is one of love, service, and unwavering commitment to his values. As we bid farewell to a man of great character, we celebrate the legacy he leaves behind—a legacy of love, faith, and generosity that will continue to inspire those who knew him. Wilson's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the enduring strength of family bonds.
