Michael “Sky” Wayne Tallman, 67, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care, on April 26, 2025.

Mike was born on June 21, 1957, in Brazil, Indiana, the son of Donald W. and Marilyn J. (Bridgewater) Tallman. He graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1977. Mike worked for GC Murphy, Burger Chef, McDonalds, City of Brazil Street Department, and the radio station WWCM. Mike was a sports fanatic! He loved watching all sports – especially basketball and baseball. Mike especially enjoyed coaching and officiating YMCA Basketball games and CYL Baseball games.

Mike was a member of the Rio Grande Road Church of Christ. He also enjoyed listening to music, spending time in nature, traveling, and was always up for an adventure.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Jill Tallman.

Survivors include his brother Jeff Tallman, niece and nephew Jessica and Justin, caregivers and aunt and uncle Janice and Richard Piatt.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Services will be held at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Clearview Cemetery.
