Edward J. Cratty, age 70 passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Bell Trace skilled nursing facility in Bloomington Indiana. Ed was born July 20th, 1954 Lima Ohio, to Edward and Irene (Ehora) Cratty. In his younger years, Ed formed a band in Lima called Madhatter where he performed vocals, played both 6 & 12 string guitar as well as piano, and he’d carry his love for music throughout the rest of his life. Later in life, Ed worked with the developmentally disabled adults until his retirement. While retired, Ed would frequently visit the local VFW and American Legion where he would meet and make many friends and again showcase his talented voice doing karaoke. Ed’s warm and caring personality touched many lives and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
