Sean died peacefully on Sunday, April 27th.


Sean was born to Dolores and Francis Dolan on June 12, 1956 in New York City and lived in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, before moving with his family to Yonkers in 1962. He attended the Kennedy Child Study Center in Manhattan for preschool and entered the special education program in the Yonkers Public Schools where he was educated from grades 1 through 12.


Sean was known for his strong interest in cars of any make and model and in Lionel trains, as well as for his attachment to the New York Yankees. He enjoyed holiday gatherings with his family and was always interested in the activities of his niece and his nephews and his grandnieces and grandnephew.


Sean was predeceased by his parents and by his brother Kevin. He is survived by his sister Patricia and her husband John Manning, his brother Paul and his wife Elizabeth, and his sister Deirdre and her husband Michael Mone, all of Yonkers, and by his brother Francis and his wife Marlene of Manhattan, Kansas. Also surviving are his nephews Brian, Thomas, William, and James Manning; Kevin, Jack, and Luke Dolan; and Brendan and A.J. Mone, as well as a niece, Caela Mone. In addition, Sean leaves behind three grandnieces and a grandnephew.
