In Loving Memory of James Lawrence Howerton Jr.

James Lawrence Howerton Jr. was born on April 26, 1977, to Carole Pratt and the late James Lawrence Howerton. He peacefully transitioned on April 27, 2025.

James was a devoted father to Regine Miller, Harmony White-Howerton, Jaymie Miller, and Nina Howerton. He was the beloved son of Carole Pratt and the cherished fiancé of Simone Harrison. James and Simone were to be married on the day he passed.

A viewing and celebration of James’s life will be held at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, located at 3600 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. The viewing will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m.
