Ira Grady Myers, age 79, of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away on Sunday April 27th, 2025. He was always surrounded by family. Grady was born April 5th, 1946 in Birmingham, Alabama to Dorothy Will Foust Myers and Dr. Ira Lee Myers.

Grady is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kristin Myers; son Matthew Grady Myers and wife Aliana; son Joshua Lee Myers; son Charles Clinton Langford; daughter Julie Carol Johnson and husband Scott; son Ira William Myers and wife Emily; sister Joanna Lynn Kingery and husband Mark; and five grandchildren. Grady is also survived by his two faithful canine sidekicks "Bella T" (Bella) and "ZoeZoe" (Zoey). These two brought Grady immeasurable happiness and their bonds were undeniably a gift from God.

Grady was preceded in death by; father Dr. Ira Lee Myers; mother Dorothy Will Foust Myers; sister Dr. Martha Crystal Myers; brother Stephen Allen Myers.

Grady never met a stranger, and is remembered as someone willing to help any and every one. He always put others above self. Grady retired after 38 years of service with the Montgomery County Health Department, and provided countless homes and businesses with water and power through his trenching business. Grady enjoyed being productive - bee keeping, raising cattle, and real estate investing brought him great joy, and he loved sharing what he learned through his many ventures!

Grady fought the good fight in his final years, and always acted with kindness and selflessness no matter the difficulty of his personal health battle. He looked forward to meeting his Lord and Savior and always spread the word that the best days are yet to come!
